Daily Beauty Products (Wednesday 30 September 2015)

L'Oreal lipgloss (501 Bonnie) - I am not starting to pull out my Autumn products and I had completely forgotten I had bought this product. It is a beautiful rusty / orange lipgloss which is not too over the top for work and ideal for my current scratchy mood as we hurtle into the cold months. I do not mind the winter months, the thing I hate most is dark mornings and dark early evenings - when you have been in work all day it just gets a bit much. Anyway, today I thought this colour would be beautiful against my relatively neutral makeup to add a small amount of colour to reflect the Autumnal feel. Check out the L'Oreal website for further details here.

Illamasqua Cream Blush (seduce) - I know what you are all thinking that is a very bold colour. All I can say is don't always run away from colours like this, they may surprise you and this colour is so beautiful for the Autumn / Winter time and with being a cream blush you have full control over how much you use.

I simply adore the deep berry colour which is so rich and warming. I find if I keep a simple eye and a very neutral lip this blush really brings the day time look together.

I really want you all to try colours that you are scared of or would never try as you will be surprised you may like them. Check out the Illamasqua website for the amazing colours here.

Daily Beauty Products (Monday 28 September 2015)

Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex 10 in 1 Renewal System Shampoo and Condition - I am going to sound really sad now, but I do think this is one of the best products I have tried all year! Yes, that is a very bold statement coming from some one who has tried many many products this year.

I have never heard of Shea Moisture before, but they are huge in the US and is now going to be available in the UK in your local Boots store. My hair type is dull / greasy very easily however, since I have been using these products, I do not have to wash my hair every day like I used as this combination means my hair feels clean for up to three days which I am loving. In addition, this product promotes a healthy scalp and gentle sulphate free cleansing.

The conditioner is simply amazing and leaves my usual tangle mess into a smooth and tangle free zone. Both of these products are on my re-purchase list and at £10 it is a complete bargain for such amazing products. You all must try these now, they are available here.

Daily Beauty Products (Saturday 26 September 2015)

Maybelline Galactic Mauve (240) - I must confess I am one of those women who would quite happily apply my lipstick  at the table or in public I just simply do not care. My husband has had to get used to either watching me apply it in public places - like today in the middle of Costa coffee or aid me when I don't have a mirror to check that I do not have any lipstick on my teeth. He has now given up on questioning what I do. Like today, I have no make up on apart from my lipstick and I love it! He has learnt very quickly not to argue with a pregnant woman.

Today I am wanting to try out an lipstick that I think will be perfect for an autumn look. If you are a bit scared about trying out a "berry look" I would try this colour from Maybelline as you can add a discrete touch of colour or build it up to be a bit more in your face. Try it out don't be so scared!!

Daily Beauty Products (Friday 25 September 2015)

Insta Natural Argan Oil - Everyone is usually a bit scared of using oil as there is that assumption that if you have oily skin you will not receive any benefit or if you use oil you get that "greasy look" which is never a good look.

However, I have been using this on my face after I have had a shower in the evening and on my nails, and I have really noticed a difference. My skin feels much more hydrated, especially now as I have crazy pregnant person hormones and has made my skin look beautifully plump and healthy looking in the morning. I am going to continue to use this product as now we are facing colder days, I know my skin is going to become dry and flaky and fingers cross this will be kept a bay because of my use of Argan Oil.

So my advice, be brave and get a bottle of Argan Oil as it is so versatile you will not be disappointed and this is a great one. Check the rest of the Insta Natural products out here.

Daily Beauty Products (Thursday 24 September 2015)

Superdrug Optimum Phytocelltec Intensive Protecting Eye Cream - I use so many different eye creams and did not have a favourite. My main aim was to ensure my under eye area was hydrated as I do suffer with horrible dry patches around my eyes.

When I popped into my local Superdrug store I saw this on special offer and because I have not tried anything from the brand I just knew I had to give it a go to see what it is like. It certainly fits the bill to my needs. It is specifically for people aged 25 + and with being 32 it is suitable for my skin type. I do find with some eye creams they are either not moisturising enough or far to rich for my skin at present. This eye cream gives me the right amount of hydration without my skin feeling heavy and clogged up.

For women I would say between 25-35 that difficult age where you don't quite meet the proper hard core anti-aging or the youth products it is worth having a look at this brand as it clearly sets out what is appropriate for what age and it is so simply to follow. There are no complicated beauty jargon so do not panic. Check out these products here.

Daily Beauty Products (Wednesday 23 September 2015)

AA Essentials Skincare Collection Lavender and Tea Tree Face Lotion - I am simply obsessed by this brand at the moment. During my pregnancy I have found out that one day my skin can look simply glowing and beautiful and the next a horrible hormonal mess which leads me to not want to leave the house.

However, this product has provided me with an excellent balance. I do not use this everyday but, a couple of days a week because of the antibacterial and antiseptic qualities contained within the ingredients it is a perfect combination to keep my skin calm and spots at bay.

I love the simple packaging and the simple lay persons terms they use on the bottle definitely makes it very user friendly. This brand needs to stand from the rooftops and sing their own praises as they have amazing products and the ones I have tried and never left me disappointed. Check out AA Essentials website here.

TK Maxx - I always forget what amazing products TK Maxx has. Sometimes I seriously get put off just purely down to the state the stands are left in and do just walk on by. But other times they have some amazing products are such good prices. All of the products above together cost me less than £15.00 which is simply crazy.

So, my advice to you all is make a bit of effort to have a look in store as you never know when you may find a hidden gem!

Daily Beauty Products (Monday 21 September 2015)

Creightons No More Frizz Shampoo / Conditioner / Serum- I have been using this combo over the past 7-10 days and have been surprised just how much I have been enjoying them. I am slowly getting over my snobbery of using the cheaper end of the market hair products, and it has definitely made me think that more of us need to have a try of these amazing but value for money products now widely available to us. And, they are pretty good!

The products are so gentle on your hair and not stripping and they left my hair feeling hydrated and smooth which is the qualities I look for in my hair care. The packaging certainly catches your eye, and what it states on the packaging is exactly what was delivered. All I can say is well done Creightons another amazing set of products which are available here.

Daily Beauty Product (Saturday 19 September 2015)

Mac Creamsheen Peach Blossom- Today I am going to a wedding which part of me is looking forward to but part of me is thinking this is no place for a pregnant woman who just wants to sit around at home with a good book.

This is my favourite lipstick and one that I wore on my own wedding day. The lipstick is just simply beautiful and a real classic and one which will remain permanently in my collection.

Daily Beauty Products (Friday 18 September 2015)

Yes Age Refresh Cleansing Facial Wipes - I am a bit of a snob and have a bit of a dislike when it comes to cleansing wipes. Yes, they have their place ie in an emergency but I do not understand when people become so dependent on them. I get they are reasonable in price etc etc and everyone is busy etc etc but people really need to ensure there faces are properly cleaned and I mean using water and soap!

However, if I were to use a facial wipes, I would only use them from very limited brands and Yes is one of the few that I would depend upon. The first thing, you notice is the wipes are not dry, so you do not get any dragging across your face and will gently remove your days make-up and do leave your skin feeling clean.

In addition, the wipes are petroleum, SLS and Paraben free which is another additional bonus. So ladies, if you are having to use a face wipe check these out now.

Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel - This has been my treat this month after all, all I have been doing is spending my hard earned cash on getting ready to have my baby in January 2016. I have seen a lot of people using this product and it has certainly received rave reviews. I do not usually buy into any hype products but I just simply could not resist and I simply adore Chanel beauty products.

It pains me to say this, but yes the hype is all true. The product is simply beautiful. I have used it as a bronzer on its own without any contouring etc etc and it works just as well on its own or teamed with a blush. The colour is subtle and is versatile and would suit all skin types and has smooth velvet finish. Although it is a pricey product, for the amount you get and the amount you use, it works our as being value for money and one that I would definitely recommend for you to put on your Christmas / birthday list. Check this product out here.

Daily Beauty Products (Wednesday 16 September 2015)

La Roche-Posay Rosaliac Micellar Make-up Removal Gel- I am astounded at the rate of change with micellar waters / gels and wipes. Make-up removal has definitely improved and with all of the new technologies being established we are all seeing the benefits.

I adore micellar waters as it is always a great start to gently remove your make-up and love using them in the morning just to clean away the dirt and grime that has built up whilst I have been asleep. I was intrigued to try this product because a. I love La Roche Posay and b. I love micellar waters.

When I first tried this product it was a bit weird as I am not used to the consistency, but after a couple of uses it is an excellent product. which gently cleanses my skin. This is such a versatile product and can be used on all different skin types even if you have sensitive skin as it will gentle soothe your skin whilst your taking your make-up off. In addition, this product is soap free, alcohol free, colourant free and the formulation is parabens free.

La Roche-Posay spend a lot of time and listen to their customers to ensure there products meet their needs which I respect greatly. If you have not tried anything from this brand, I would highly recommend for you to have a look as you will find a product that meets your needs even if you have complex skin issues, check it out here.

Daily Beauty Products (Tuesday 15 September 2015)

Creightons Frizz No More - I have a confession I have been a bit of a snob when it comes to the cheaper end of the market hair products. However, over the last couple of weeks, I have been keeping in mind that the industry has come on in leaps and bounds and have seriously improved the lower end of the market products not just with hair but with make-up to. I think brands have started to realise that yes, women will spend money on products but we also want quality and a product that actually works.

My hair has a natural wave in it, so sometimes after I have washed my hair it looks great and I have the beach natural wave look which I love. But, in the morning it does look an absolute mess. So, because I always wash my hair in the evening, I have been spraying a little bit of this product in and it has been maintaining my natural wave. I have been looking for a product that does exactly this which I am really pleased about. It didn't leave my hair "crunchy" like some products do and left a healthy glossy shine. I was a little worried about my hair looking like it had a lot of product in, but I really didn't need to be too concerned as it just look so natural. Now, the even better part of this product it costs under £1.50, so those of you on a limited budget should have a try, even as a treat and you would certainly not be disappointed. This product is available here.

Kleenex Shine Absorbing Sheets - Again, I know what you are all thinking this is a strange product to put in. However, these have been my saviour during my pregnancy, especially during the first trimester. I have been really suffering from what I call "pregnancy sweats", I am not usually a sweaty person but I think all of the hormones has made my skin go a little crazy. So, I have been using these to keep the shine at bay from my face and now I look like I have a "pregnancy glow" rather than horrible sweaty mess. Check these out here.

Daily Beauty Products (Sunday 13 September 2015)

Yes, I know another haul. This is only a small one though in my defence.

The first product is from The Body Shop nutriganics softening cleansing gel oil.

Then I did a quick stop at Superdrug and Makeup Revolution to pick up a couple of bits.

The first product was a pressed powder in translucent. I also picked up a great eyeshadow base called touch me (this was only £1 which is a bargain) and finally a blush called Now which again was only £1 which is amazing price.

L'Oreal True Match Foundation (Golden Beige) - I know what you are all thinking that this is a "blast from the past" and has been out for ages. I had forgotten just how good it actually is and the colour choice available seems to have improved with the upgrade in the packaging.

I have been using this product for a couple of weeks and the amount of compliments I have been getting about my skin has been quite a pleasant shock. I sometimes just cannot be bothered to put foundation on in the morning, I find it too fussy and just simply do not have time and usually resort to a BB cream. But, with this formula it is so quick and smooth and easily blendable there is no fuss or worry that I am going to walk out of the house with any unflattering lines or blotches from where I have been half asleep and making attempts to put my days face on.

L'Oreal are a brand that really put a lot of investment in their products to ensure that it meets there needs of their customers and I am guessing they have an impressive budget to enable them to product amazing products but within a reasonable price.

The one advantage of this product it is buildable quality so if like me you like a thin layer you can do that without the "cakey" appearance or if you like a fuller coverage, my advice would be to apply thin layers which would give you amazing coverage if you are trying to cover any problematic areas.

If you are on a limited budget, this is one product you should have in your make up bag because you certainly would not disappoint and it hits the £10.00 mark which is brilliant value for money. My advice on suitable colours, put some testers on your hand and go outside of the shop or shopping centre into natural light as you cannot always tell which is the best colour for you in the shop. Check this product out here.

Maybelline Colour Elixir (120 Fuschia) - These lip glosses are one of my favourites from Maybelline and the colour variety and choice is mind blowing, there will be a colour out there for you, trust me. The application is smooth and leaves your lips feeling hydrated and throughout the day although you do need to do a touch up, it does not go blotchy or drying. This should be on your shopping list check them out here.

Daily Beauty Products (Wednesday 9 September 2015)

Mua Luxe Duo Bronzing and Highlighter Kit (Light / Medium) - MUA are such an underrated brand that people tend to turn the noses up at. But, it is a brand to try if you have never done any contouring to see whether it is for you (it is not for everyone). Or, I simply use one of the products if I need to do my make up so, I would use the bronzer just to simply warm up my face or if I fancy a bit of a glow just the highlighter.

The powders are lightweight and there is no cakey appearance which can happen with slightly cheaper products. This is one product that will remain in my kit as it is just so versatile and I even use the bronzer for an eyeshadow as the colour is just simply beautiful. This product is £5.00 and worth every single penny. Check out MUA website here.

Maybelline Matte Colour Sensation Lipsticks (930 Nude Embrace and 940 Rose Rush) - I am not usually a fan of matte lipsticks as I find they dry my lips out and as I suffer from dry lips can make them look terrible as the day goes on. I was reluctant to try these new lippies but when I saw the colours that sucked me into buying them. I was surprised, I actually really like them. The colour pigmentation is simply beautiful and if you have never tried matte lipsticks these are a great starting point and the colours are not too scary. They did not dry my lips out and the applied smoothly and my lips stayed hydrated throughout the day.

I love the packaging of Maybelline lipsticks especially when you can tell the different ranges they have simply by the colour of the case which is an excellent idea. And, the cost at £6.99 you really cannot go wrong. There are a great variety of shades available, I would check out your local Maybelline stand or click here to look at what shades are currently available.

Daily Beauty Products (Monday 6 September 2015)

EyeCandy and Eyelashs by Invogue - I have just started to use eyelashes a lot more. I never used to be too interested as I found them too much of a faff and I was so worried that it would look a "bit much". I am not so sure what has changed, maybe the fact that a lot of the eyelashes only enhance you look rather than look like you should be on snog, married and avoid programme.

Both sets of these eyelashes are easy to apply, even when you have limited time. Don't forget when you want to apply them, apply the glue and do not apply straight away and allow the glue to become tacky and then apply as it will stop them slipping around and becoming messy. In addition, you will see the glue is white, don't panic it will dry clear.

The eyelashes are handmade with quality hair and most importantly they feel so comfortable for the whole day and in the end I had completely forgotten that I was wearing them until I went to take my make up off at the end of the day.

If you have never used fake eyelashes, my suggestion is be brave buy a pack and give it a go! These lashes are available here

Daily Beauty Products (Sunday 6 September 2015)

Sleek Barekissed Illuminator (Monaco and Casablanca) - I am just biased but Sleek products are just simply amazing. When I heard that they had released these products, I simply had to give them a go.

I even just use these products on their own without any foundation, especially at the weekend when I don't want to wear too much make-up. These products offer a subtle glow and no glitter which is what I look for as I hate it when illuminators just cover my face in glitter and then when you try and remove it, can be tricky as it goes everywhere. In addition, my husband hates it when the glitter ends up covering him whenever he comes near me.

If you are planning on going on holiday, I would advise you to purchase on of these to take with you, as it will provide you with an amazing base for your evening make up. This product costs £8.99 which is a bargain and the quality of the packaging oozzes quality. I would recommend these products and they are available here.

Daily Beauty Products (Saturday 5 September 2015)

Fibre Brow Enhancer (Light) -I have to say that I use brow gel every day to tame my crazy brows. When I tried this out, initially, I was not sure about the fibre consistency which I acknowledge can be a bit messy at first. However, once you get used to the consistency it is an amazing product which has meant that I do not need to use my brow pencil and just need to use one product in the morning.

The great quality about this product is that it enhances and fills in your brows and you can easily shape your brows and adds definition.

This product comes in four different colours, which is amazing as most brow products come in limited colours. You can get it in light, medium, dark and extra dark which will suit everyone's needs.

In addition, what I love within the box you are provided with a helpful guide to help with providing great advice on how to shape and correct your brows.

This is one product that you must try, it is available here.

Wet Brush Pro Detangle Professional - I do love a good de-tangle brush when you have permanently knotted hair it is a god-send. But, I do find some of the to have bristles that hurt my scalp and due to having a sensitive scalp - yes that is a thing I often struggle. The great thing about this product you do not have to pull or tug at your hair and the end result no tangles, split ends and more importantly hair loss.

When I saw this brush, I immediately loved the fact it has a handle and this is now a permanent fixture in my handbag. This is one product that I would recommend to you all. This brush is available here in a variety of different colours.

Daily Beauty Products (Wednesday 2 September 2015)

AA Essentials Skincare Collection Lemongrass and Lavender Deodorant - I know it is a strange product to feature on my blog, but we all use it so I wanted to post a product that I would highly recommend. Now, I am not a fan of that artificial smell you can sometimes get with deodorants or as it wears during the day, it just smells like you have sprayed on cleaning fluids in the morning. This is one product I immediately fell in love with.

I have not used a roller ball deodorant in years, I simply find them a "faff". But this product has changed my mind. I immediately fell in love with the simple packaged product which states exactly what it does. Don't you find now when you look in your local high street store for a new deodorant there is an overwhelming aisle of many different types which do pretty much everything bar make you a cup of tea in the morning.

The smell of this product is beautiful and not overpowering and lasts all day. It allows you skin to breath as well as giving you the protection from any potential interesting odours. I also can be incredibly sensitive under my arms and this was gentle to my skin as it does not contain any synthetic parfums. I would urge you all to have a look at this amazing brands website which you can access here for further information.
