Nuxe Paris Gelee Exfoliante Douce Gentle Exfoliating Gel

I am a massive fan of Nuxe products and it is another amazing brand that not many people are aware of. Initially, I started by using Nuxe Baume Levres Lip Balm which is simply amazing due to the rich and hydrating properties within it. Sorry, I have got distracted, I was given this by my sister as she happens to work in M and S and Nuxe is stocked in their amazing beauty department and was so excited to try this out.

The gel contains small parts of rose petals which initially did take me by surprise but once applied just feels like luxury and with the additional amazing scent it makes exfoliating if it can be a pleasant experience. You can massage this product either into wet or dry skin. My preference is I apply it whilst my skin is dry, after cleansing and removing my make-up and it took all those pesky dry and dead skin cells away. Don't panic if you have dry and sensitive skin as it is gentle enough for you to use this and it did not leave my skin feeling red or dry, in fact my skin the next day after use had a beautiful glow and the blemishes I had noticeably improved.

I simply love Nuxe's philosophy which is to provide feminine skin care products based on a pharmaceutical approach - simply, they really know their stuff and they really know their customers. I love that about a brand who are passionate at providing what their customers want and a bit extra. Well done Nuxe !!!

This product costs £16.00 and it is worth every single penny and is available on their website.

Beauty Blender vs Nanshy Blending Sponge

*Firstly, I want to apologise for the state of my beauty blenders, they have just been used and I would like to assure you they do get regularly cleaned.*

There are so many beauty blender like sponges on the market, and they range in prices and quality. Due to having a baby, I am trying to find products that make my life a little bit easier and means I can put my face on promptly in the morning, yes I still like to put some make-up on even though I have a baby, it makes me feel a little bit better and "normal". I have to say I love a beauty blender /blending sponge and have used them for some time. I love how my it makes my foundation look and the easy application is just what I need in my current situation.

The classic Beauty Blender was my first cosmetic sponge and it certainly did not disappoint. This will leave your make-up looking streak -free and it can apply not just your foundation but, concealer, primers, powders and cream blush. The best use of this sponge is when it is wet as its open cell structure fills with small amount of water which allows the sponge to be "full" so the make-up sits on top of the sponge rather than being absorbed. Which means, less product being used.

You need to bear in mind, when the sponge is wet it will double in size and become softer. As it dries, be assured it does return back to its normal size.

The best way to use any blending sponges is in a bouncing off your skin way, which leaves a beautiful air brush look which I simply adore. The Beauty Blender is a great tool for your make-up bag!

The Beauty Blender costs £16.00 and is available at and here.

The Nanshy Marvel 4 in 1 Make-up Blending Sponge has a slightly different shape compared to the beauty blender. The Blending Sponge is easy to use and easy to clean. Again, the Blending Sponge is best used wet and the flat edge is ideal for using around the nose and eye area, the difficult to reach areas.

The technology behind the Sponge is micro pore formulation which allows for the sponge to remain damp which means that it can grab the right amount of make-up. It expands when wet but again returns to its original size once dry.

I simply love the brand Nanshy and their focus for their customers which is:

'Help as many people as we can enhance their beauty and appearance for an even better look.'

Nanshy is definitely a brand more people should try due to the ethos, the great quality products and the price is just outstanding. The sponge costs £5.95 which is a bargain and available here. Also, check out their website at,

In conclusion, both of these sponges are very similar and I love using both. I do believe you need to try different sponges as you will have your own personal preference.

Instant Whites 7 day whitening system

I have never thought about doing a teeth whitening kit at home, I am simply too lazy and they always look a bit of a "faff". However, my mind has been changes when I looked into the Instant White kit. They definitely suit people like me and have certainly changed my mind. The kit is simply to use, not messy and just user friendly which was a selling point.

  • 7 days whitening system zero sensitivity
  • 9 shades whiter in 7 days
  • Visible results in less than five minutes
  • Rapidly removes plaque and surface stains

I had noticed after 7 days an improvement in the colour of my teeth. My teeth are not too yellow, but this just improved them and took away the tea staining.

The system is peroxide free. You notice a difference within five minutes and they work on all tooth surfaces whether you have natural teeth, caps, crowns, veneers, dentures and bonding. The pH balanced to rehydrate enamel.

From my research, the reviews have all been positive with comments about the easy application, noticeable difference straight away, the pleasant taste and the main point that I was interested in was that a lot of the reviewers would recommend this product to others. And, I would actually recommend this product to others, a few of my friends have recently purchased this kit to due to the improvement in the colour of my teeth.

This kit is of excellent value at £29.99 and it is available here.
