Daily Beauty Products (Wednesday 29 April 2015)

Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer - I have to confess I am currently going through a stage of trying out as many primers as I possibly can. There are some great ones available on the High Street and at a great price. I use a primer to just prepare my skin for my daily's makeup and feel it is a great start and it also ensures that my makeup stays on for the whole day.

I was in Boots the other day and I had not realised that Revlon had available a primer in their photoready collection. It has probably been available for some time I have just not noticed it.

I am really impressed by this product, it does not feel too silicon like and leaves my skin ready for the rest of my make up. I only use a small amount but it does feel my skin feeling incredibly smooth and soft, I almost feel like I do not need to apply any more make up. The product contains a slight pink hint, which assists with evening out the skin colour. I have to say, I think I prefer this product then to Benefit Porefessional, yes I said it.

I do believe when it comes to primer's no matter how many reviews you read, it is very much down to personal preferences. I am afraid to say that I would encourage you to try as many as possible before you make a decision on which one you prefer. This product costs £11.99 and is available here.

Daily Beauty Products (Tuesday 28 April 2015)

Selfridges Exclusive Beauty Box - At the moment there are some amazing beauty boxes available from many different companies. But, I have to say that Selfridges really know how to put together a beauty box and they have not let me down at all.

In this amazing box there are a variety of different brands some old ones that we all know and love but some new ones that I have been waiting to try. All the lovely products come in a large "dust bag" and are beautifully wrapped which just simply oozes class.

Within the box I received the following products:
- Obsessive compulsive cosmetics lip tar (Hollywood)
- Dermalogica conditioning body wash
- The Konjac Sponge
- Lancaster Tan Maximizer
- Illamasqua mascara
- Kiehls ultra facial cleanser
- Verso night cream
- OPI nail lacquer (tickle my fancy)
- Nars larger than life long wear eyeliner

Whoever, picked out the products needs a pat on their back as the choice is just exceptional and well thought out.

I cannot wait until Selfridges decides to bring out their next beauty box. Check out the Selfridges website.

Daily Beauty Products (Monday 27 April 2015)

NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder (720a Sunny) - If you are in need of a new bronzer, my advice have a look at the NYC counter. I am not sure whether you are like me, but I don't usually spend my time having a look at the NYC products, I am not sure why I don't as they have many hidden gems there.

In addition, if you are a bit scared about bronzer being a bit much this is the product for you. It provides a subtle highlight to your face (if you apply in the shape of a three) it provides the perfect hint of the sun shine hitting your face without looking over done. I am not overly keen on the packaging as feels clumsily put together but for £1.99, I can't really complain.

My advice to NYC is that you need to shout from the rooftops the amazing products you have available. This bronzer is available here.

Bruzz (the most hygienic nail brush) - When I was asked to try this product out, I have to say that sadly I did jump at the chance. I regularly do my own gel manicure and when I soak them off I do like to give them a good scrub in preparation for the new gel nails.

This amazing product was created by a beauty therapist and form cabin crew member for British Airways. Emma, was driven to develop  new kind of nail brush following years spent working with British Airways where meticulously clean nails were an essential part of the job and after dealing with lots of inferior brushes when trying to clean her cent's nails in her nail salon.

This brush cleans the top, underside and tip of the nail in one simple action and the antibacterial bristles have vanilla extract contained on them which leaves your nails not only feeling healthy and smelling amazing.

So, if you are like me and permanently have gel or acrylic nails I would highly recommend this product to be part of your manicure. I love the fact my nails feel so prepared for the new manicure. The additional factor what I love is that once you add a small amount of soap on to the bristles you don't get sprayed with the grime or soap like you would do with other brushes.

This product is attracting rave reviews on both Amazon and Boots and at £9.99 is a bit more pricey then other nail brushes but is definitely worth the money as a welcomed addition to my manicure preparation. The nail brush is available here.

Why have I not been blogging...........................

I have not been blogging for a week as I have just started the most amazing job which I wanted to fully focus on settling in. I am now back and blogging my daily beauty products.

2True Eyeshadow Quad (shade 1) - 2True is always a stand that I walk past never look at, I am not really sure why I don't. I saw this amazing neutral palette the other day and simply had to pick it up. The colours blend beautifully and last all day. There are two other palettes available, one more of grey tones and the other purple, so there is a palette for pretty much anyone. I would recommend this palette and it is available at your local Superdrug and at £3.49 it is a complete bargain.
