Daily Beauty Products (Sunday 1 March 2015)

Collection Deluxe Lipstick (03 Charleston) - I believe these are new to Collection (correct me if I am wrong). I simply love the colour of this lipstick it is an affordable great nude (brown). The lipstick contains shea butter and is rich with Vitamin E so ideal for these winter days as it left my lips beautifully soft. The texture is creamy and actually feels like it should be more expensive then it is. Great job Collection !!!

This lipstick cots £3.99 available at www.collectioncosmetics.co.uk

Daily Beauty Product (Saturday 28 February 2015)

Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray - I have been an avid user of Mac Fix + for a number of months. I know a lot of the beauty bloggers have been using this product for years and I am slow to jump on the band wagon. I bought this in the travel size as I do not always use a setting spray and I was not sure whether I was going to like it or not.

This product states that it gives your makeup staying power and looks like you have just applied it which I have to agree. It did ensure my makeup stayed put all day and in the evening.

Urban Decay have used temperature control technology which means that even when it is hot and humid or cold / windy your makeup will stay in place.

I do think I would purchase again, but I will again buy in the travel size as I do not use enough of the product to really buy the bigger size. In addition, I will alternate using this with the Mac Fix + as I do love both of these products.

I think that if you have never used a setting spray this is a great start to see whether you like it or not. This size costs £9.00 check out www.urbandecay.com for more details.

Daily Beauty Products (Friday 27 February 2015)

L'Oreal Paris Infallible 24 hour Matte Foundation - Have you noticed over the past few weeks the drug store has been a hive of activity for new products. All of the brands we know and love in the drug stores are making attempts to out do one another in an attempt to get us to spend our hard earned cash.

L'Oreal had had an explosion of new products on their shelves. We have all probably have seen the teasers from America and have been waiting for the products to finally launch in the UK. This is one of the products that I have been waiting for. I love foundations that come in a tube, which I know sounds strange but they are so easy to travel with and you can control the amount of product you use.

I have been using this product for the last couple of weeks, and it is lightweight and "non-cakey" as it states on the packaging. It provides a high coverage with a matte finish. I love the fact that it evens out my skin tone and covers the redness on my face. The only small criticism is, is that it does cling to my dry patches which can be off putting to some people. I do like to apply this foundation with my beauty blender for an even coverage.

I love the packaging which is so simple and provides a small guidance diagram on the back to show how you can get a flawless finish from the product. In addition, I love the fact the packaging clearly shows what colour you have rather than having to hunt around it to seek out what number and name you require. This foundation is available in six colours and I question whether L'Oreal would continue to provide further colours to suit other skin tones.

The foundation states that it has been clinically proven to be waterproof or steamproof, which would be an interesting experiment to have. I personally would not wear my makeup when exercising etc etc as in my view it is not very hygienic but it would be good if you go to the gym during your lunch break.

This foundation is value for money at £6,99 which is excellent value for money. Check out www.lorealparis.co.uk,

Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter (peach lights) - I am loving the baked highlighters from Makeup Revolution. I think they are a great alternative if you cannot afford the Hourglass Ambient Powder. The colour is subtle and easily blend-able to add a discrete highlight to your face. I do love the peach tones to this highlighter which adds a small amount of colour that complements my skin tone. I would highly recommend this product if you are on a limited budget.

Available for £3.00 at www.makeuprevolutionstore.com

Daily Beauty Product (Wednesday 25 February 2015)

Liz Earle Botanical Shine Shampoo  - This is another product that came in either a Birchbox or Glossybox and I have not used. I am kicking myself as this is one of the few products that I am actually going to go and purchase the full size of. First of all, the smell is amazing and feels so luxious.

The shampoo contains shea butter, vitamin and apple / orange extracts which means the shampoo gently cleans your hair without stripping it. It has left my hair feeling soft, shiny and smooth. I would highly recommend. I know it may sound expensive, but you need such a small amount it is worth it. In addition, you can get the travel size (the size shown in picture) for £5.00. Buy it now!!!!

Available at 200ml - £10.00 www.lizearle.com

Nuxe Masque Creme Fraiche de Beaute - I have been trying out this mask for the last couple of weeks and I simply love it. It is a perfect Sunday night pamper session. It left my skin feeling hydrated and smooth and was a perfect pick me up and a great start to the week. I have not really tried anything from the Nuxe brand but after using this I will definately be looking into other products. This product costs £18.50 and is available at www.nuxe.com
