L'Oreal Lip Liner Couture - 630 Cafe de Flore

I have been looking for products that have multi-purpose and surprising I have not only just used this lip liner to of course line my lips but I have been using the product as a lip colour, together with a small amount of lip balm.

The colour is beautiful and perfect for all skin types and for all seasons. The lip liner is soft easy to apply as I find some lip liners very drying and you end up tugging along the lip line. I also at times find lip liners drying on my lips which can be very off putting. L'Oreal really know there products and formulas and this is one product that is on my favourite list. Check out the other lip liners here.

Current make-up favourites

With being a busy mother and wishing to still look reasonable for the day ahead, I have been streamlining my make-up to ensure that it not only looks good but can be quick and I have found some ideal products that have helped me.

The first product I love is the Clarins Instance Light Radiance Boosting Complexion Base, its a great product to give a great base and provides the perfect shine without looking like a disco ball.

To keep my eyebrows at bay I liked to use the L'Oreal Brow Artist Genius kit this provides both the pigment and wax to keep your eyebrows looking amazing throughout the day.

George Asda Skin Brightener I use as a simple highlighter, it provides just enough brightener without looking too shiny and at £5 you cannot argue with the price, which you can pick up when you do your food shop.

Face powder is provided by H and M and it provides a perfect finish for my make-up.

I use two products by Max Factor, the first is the Creme Puff blush, it is perfect for a subtle colour pop or if you want a more dramatic look you can build the colour up. I just use a small gentle sweep and it provides a beautiful colour and helps when I am feeling especially tired. For eye shadow I use a simple shimmer pot in bronze. This is again another product that you can convert from day to evening. I simply just add a small amount which provides a beautiful bronze colour and an excellent base for any further eye colour I wish to add.

Lastly, mascara is provided by Kiko and this is my favourite at the moment. This mascara provides a long lasting curl and the colour is a rich black and lasts all day without any fall out which is perfect.

So, that is my daily make-up why don't you send me a picture of your provides that you use on a daily basis to thesecretworldofabeautyblogger@gmail.com

Rimmel Kate Matt Lipstick (101 Soft Pink)

I am really limited at the products I can use by Rimmel (I cannot use any of their eye products as I have a strange reaction to them- strange but true I have written to Rimmel to question further but have never received a response). So, the only thing I can use are their lipsticks and boy do they make good lipsticks. This is one of my favourite at the moment which its rich matte formula that does not leave your lips feeling dry it is perfect for the transition into the summer months at with the price point of £5.49 it is a bargain. This lipstick is available here.

NYC Individual Eye Shadow (918 Front Raw)

NYC is one of my favourite drug store brands- it is very underrated and I find the stands very unwelcoming and wish NYC work on this as the products they have are amazing and more people would purchase them if there was an improvement in their promotion and they would be a very successful brand. I especially love the NYC palettes, not only are the product formulas excellent but the price point is just amazing value for money.

My advice is to have a look at the NYC counter as there are some real hidden gems available or check out their website.

Salix Alba Cleanser Co-Q10

I am a big fan of finding new skin care brands and Salix Alba is one that will remain in my skin care routine. This is my favourite product in my regime and one that I cannot do without. The cleanser contains nutritious oils and ingredients (organic apricot kernel oil, organic coconut oil, organic avocado oil, organic melon extract and spring water - unique only to the brand).

I used this cleanser day and night on my face and neck and it makes my skin feel either ready for my day's make-up or is part of my clean up of my day's make-up.

Salix Alba are based in the Lake District - I fully support UK based brand and they used all of their natural local ingredients within the region. The water comes from the Cartmel Valley aquifer which is renown for its curative powers since the 12th century. The aquifer water has filtered down through the fells, which was once covered by prehistoric White Willow forests which are the source of naturally occurring salicin (natural beta-hydroxy acid). Many brands use Salicylic Acid however Salix Alba do not they only use completely natural formulation available on the market.

This is one cleanser that firstly, I would repurchase again and secondly, a product that is a must in your skin care regime. Check out Salix Alba website here.

L'Oreal Lumi Magique Concealer (light)

This is a must have for my make-up bag and I use this product every day. It's one of the best drug store products around. I use this product as a highlighter and what I love there is no sparkle its more of a glow. You can also build this product up so its great if you like a subtle glow or you and build it up for more of an impact.

I also use this product down my nose, highlight the brow bone area and cupid bow and it looks amazing. The packaging is beautiful rose gold and both the product and the formula is definitely value for money at £8.99. This is one product that I would recommend for your make-up bag and it is available here.

LQ Liquid Health Supplements Advanced Skin Care

I am not one for supplements and I rarely take them. I have always looked at the skin, hair and nail vitamins but have never got round to actually trying them. I have never seen liquid supplements of this type and actually it made my life a little bit easier - strange but true. I have been taken these for the past six weeks every day and I have noticed my skin has become clearer and when I get a blemish it clears up quickly.

The supplements are rich in vitamins an minerals such as Vitamin A, B7 and B3 and many more, these all work together to provide the support skin health. The brand are focused on supporting skin health from within, and target different aspects that impact on the health and well-being of the skin as it ages.

Would I purchase this product again? - Yes, I would I much prefer it in this easy liquid form as I take it in the morning and it does not taste too bad.

I am still one for promoting eating healthy and regular exercise and ensuring you are well hydrated, but sometimes life does get in the way and this provides an additional boost. I think it is one that you all must try and they are available here and costs £29.99.

Estee Lauder Pure Colour Blush - Poppy Passion (Satin)

This is one of my favourite blushes, it may not look much in the pan but the beautiful rich colour is just perfection. Estee Lauder make some of the best blushes and this colour and formula lasted all day which is perfect. You can either apply a small amount or build the colour for a more dramatic look. I would recommend for you all to have a look at the Estee Lauder colour as if you don't like this colour there will be a colour to suit you. Or, you can check out Estee Lauder website here.

Laura Mercier Tribal Chic Eye and Cheek Palette

I have had this palette for some time there are three within the collection as I have a love hate relationship with them. Now, I usually love Laura Mercier products but this one I have to confess I am not keen on. I thought it would be perfect to purchase them so I could take one book of them away with me and that would mean choice of products without having to pack lots of different products.

The eye shadows are pretty but there are no real transition shades and do not apply very well. I find them to be blotchy and the colour pay off is just not what I expected. So, I was rather disappointed. The positive out of this palette are the blushes which are beautiful and apply well without any streaking. This palette was limited addition, but I have found it available here.

Manuka Doctor Age Defying Serum

I am quite fickle when it comes to serum, I have yet to find my absolute favourite product that fits my needs, however, this does come very close. Manuka Doctor is not a well known brand but should be one that pops into your mind when you need new skin care products. The main point I adore about this product is the rich texture and it really feels like my skin is being nourished when applied.

The formula rejuvenates and nourishes and hydrates tired looking skin and it really does this. My skin since getting over my pregnancy my skin has good and bad days and by using this definitely improves the overall look. I especially like this product as part of my evening skin care routine as over night it really aids repair and hydrates my skin in preparation for the day.

Manuka Doctor is based in New Zealand where there bee keepers product the best Manuka Honey from their hives. Manuka Doctor offers naturally inspired, scientifically enhanced skin care formulations that are refined and 100% bee friendly. Manuka Doctor puts women's needs and concerns at the core of everything it does resulting in high performance skin care regimes that deliver genuine benefits for the ultimate in skin confidence every day. This product costs £24.00 and is certainly worth every single penny. I am going to be purchasing the full size because I simply love the product and the brand and everything it stands for. This is one product I would recommend to you all and is available here.

Ciate Nail Polish - PP103 Pillow Fight

Warning - I am now going to rant about this nail polish. Firstly, I love the colour of this polish and secondly I love Ciate products. However, I am not sure whether the formula is off but this polish did not last one day without chipping (I hate chipped nails). It was so disappointing and annoying as, as I keep saying with being a busy mum I simply just don't have time to continually take nail polish every day. This polish was just disappointing, check out the other Ciate products here.

Champneys Spa Indulgence Oriental Opulence Body Cream

*Just to note this is old packaging as Champneys has recently repackaged their products - and the new products look simply amazing*

Since recovering from having a baby my skin has been up and down, one minute it is dry as a bone and another day it will be fine. I have been using this amazing body cream to help to stabilise my skin and bring it back to some form of normality.

The scent is beautiful almost like you are using a fragrance and people have complimented me on it. The cream is rich in milk protein, sweet almond oil, honey, ylang ylang, vitamin E,sandalwood and patchouli.

The cream costs £10.00 which is a really good price bearing in mind Boots usually have a 3 for 2 offer so I would purchase a few more other goodies from the Champneys range. Check out all of the Champneys products here.

La Roche-Posay Rosaliac Micellar Gel

This product seems to be rather like Marmite from the reviews I have read. Some are bitterly disappointed and did not feel the product met their expectation whilst others, are positive about this product stating that it left their skin feeling fresh, removed all waterproof mascara and how perfect it was for their sensitive skin.

I still can't decide whether I like this product, I have used all of this up but, not clear whether I would purchase again. I adore La Roche-Posay products they are one of my favourite brands and are simply reliable good skin care brand who are passionate about each and everyone of their products they provide. With the Micellar Gel, my thoughts are they were trying to do something different that is not available on the market. I do believe this was unnecessary and a simple micellar water would have been the perfect product. The gel did leave my skin feeling fresh and clean, and yes it removed my waterproof mascara and yes it was great for my sensitive skin. But, it just did not give me the same "pleasant experience" that I get when I use micellar water. I know this is not the best review you potentially would read about this product, but I do think it is a product you need to try for yourself as it is very much down to the individual choice whether they like this particular formula.

This product costs £12.50 which is quite expensive for a micellar however, you just need one pump to clean your face so when you look at the price point per pump you are getting value for money. This product is available here.
