Some news...............................

Well, I am not too sure where to start. But, I have some very exciting news which has left me on cloud 9 and that is why I have not been blogging for a couple of weeks. I have found out that I am pregnant! It has been something on the cards for a while, however, due to medical reasons it was unlikely that it would ever happen naturally. But surprise, surprise mother nature has taken matters into her own hands and it has happened. So, the baby will be due early January 2016! Stay tuned for further detail

Bourjois Colourband eyeshadow and liner (04 rose fauviste) - This shadow is currently one of my favourites, especially now we are in the Summer months. It is a beautiful rose gold colour which looks great on its own or it compliments other shadows so you can build it up for a more dramatic look.

One of the things that concerns me with shadow crayons is that they can be quite hard to apply and means you end up tugging at your eye lid. However, with this crayon you do not get that and I find applying it from the bullet initially and then using my finger (the heat is a great way of dispersing the product) the ideal way of using this product. There are many shades available so I would recommend you to have a look at the Bourjois counter to pick a colour that you feel is more appropriate to your colouring. One I would recommend!

Purifying Algae Peel-off Mask - Now, I love a great mask especially a peel-off one as there is something satisfactory about when you do finally get to peel it off- I know I am a bit strange. This mask oxygenated and has refreshing effects. The mask tackles many of my issues from anti-aging, firming, refreshing, calming and balancing - it is a great mask that you should all try.

 

You have to do this mask in two stages the first stage is the ampoule. This will cleanse the skin and you massage it in until it is complete absorbed. You must remember to keep a small amount to apply as a skin sealer when the mask is peeled off.

 

The second stage is the mask, you use the lid of the mask tub to mix the face pack and apply to your face. Then it is time to relax for around 15 minutes. When your time is up, you then can simply peel the mask from the edges.

 

The mask is suitable for all skin types, I do think you should all give it a go as it is great relaxation before you start a busy week. Check out Casmara website for further detail.

Tantruth - I have to say I am not one for tanning usually, I just simply cannot be bothered if I am being honest. However, I was asked to try this product out and it is pretty good. the tan looks natural and I do not look like I have been "tangoed" which is good and there is not biscuit smell which I hate with fake tan. What I loved about this product is that it was easy to apply and not too messy. In addition, you can build up your colour to whatever your colour preference you would like. The tan contains avocado and shea butter which left my skin feeling hydrated. This is one that you should all try and it is available here.

The Real Shaving Co face scrub / shaving cream / sensitive moisturiser - If you are struggling for ideas for what to get your Father for Father's Day I would definitely check out your local Boots store. My husband has been trying out all three products for a couple of weeks (ps he is not one for having a skin care regime). He reports back to me that all three of these products work great in partnership. For work he has to shave every day, which leads to by the end of the week his face looking a bit worse for wear, however, after using all three of these products his skin looked hydrated and smooth - which he was impressed about. Even if you Father does not really have a "skin care regime" buy just one of these products and he will love it. My husband stated that he would recommend all three of these products to his friends. iwhite instant teeth whitening 2 - I have never been one to teeth whitening because my teeth are quite white however, I have notice from my tea drinking this has started to have an impact on my tooth colour. If like me you are a bit lazy about doing things like this, actually this product is pretty good. You simply put in the mouth guard on for 20 minutes. 

The product states for instant results or up to eight shades whiter you can use this product five days in a row. In addition, it removes any stains you may have and provides a natural instant whitening effect. You do not need to worry about the size of the mouth guard as one size fits all, there is no mixing and each mouth guard provides the right amount of product. My favourite part of this product is that there is no mess!! 

For me, I did notice an improvement in the colour of my teeth and I simply popped this in whilst I was doing my hair and makeup so it did not take too much of my time out of my day. I would definitely purchase again and for £34.95 it is expensive but you do get 10 mouth guards so when you look at price per mouth guard it is value for money. You can purchase this product here.

Insta Natural Advance Repair Scar Gel - I have many scars some quite serious from major operations I have had in the past especially on my legs. Now, the scars do not bother me and I acknowledge that some scars that others may have have a great impact on their confidence. So, I thought I would use the opportunity to try this out. I have been using it for around a month and it softens the look of the scar and takes away the redness and the inconsistent colour pigment that can evolve from scaring. I used this twice a day after I had a shower as part of my daily skin care routine. 

The ingredients within this product are powerful and work together to help restore your skin and to improve any signs of damage. There is no unpleasant odour and no unwanted residue. What I love most about Insta Natural is the information they provide you on the product it provides you with a wealth of information and allows you to make the decision as to whether this is the correct product or not.

Essie Nail Polish (ballet slippers) - This is one of my favourite nail polishes as this is the one I wore on my wedding day. 

Essie are a great brand and they really know what their customers want and the choice of colours is mind blowing. 

Ballet slippers is a beautiful pink/nude and is ideal for a basic manicure. I simply love it !!

Soap and Glory Scrubatomic - This has been part of my skin care routine for many years and it is a great product. Although, it is not one I would use every day but around every third day as it would be far to harsh for my sensitive skin. It is a great product when you feel that you need to de-clog your pores and for removing the dull dead skin cells.

 

Soap and Glory as many of you know make excellent products so no only is the product great quality and actually really works but it smells beautiful. I would highly recommend this product to all skin types but if you do have sensitive skin you may only want to use it once or twice a week as the micropeel beads can be a little harsh.

Dermalogica Conditioning Body Wash - This is new to my skin care regime, I was not sure if it would really make a difference but because it came with the amazing Selfridges exclusive beauty box I just had to try it out.

 

It is an amazing product, rich and hydrating I love face cleansers and this is a cleanser for the whole body so it definitely suited me. And again, for my dry skin which usually reacts to just about everything, no reaction, it actually gave my skin a new lease of life as it got rid of those disgusting old skin cells, dirt and grime which is built up during the day and left my skin feeling "squeaky" clean, but hydrated and smooth. Makeup Revolution Affirmation Palette - Makeup revolution have done it yet again, what an amazing palette and what a price - £8.00 for all of these.

 

The quality of the shadows are excellent with very little fall out. They apply smoothly, no tugging at the eye and the choice of colours is just mind blowing.
