Beauty Blender vs Nanshy Blending Sponge

*Firstly, I want to apologise for the state of my beauty blenders, they have just been used and I would like to assure you they do get regularly cleaned.*

There are so many beauty blender like sponges on the market, and they range in prices and quality. Due to having a baby, I am trying to find products that make my life a little bit easier and means I can put my face on promptly in the morning, yes I still like to put some make-up on even though I have a baby, it makes me feel a little bit better and "normal". I have to say I love a beauty blender /blending sponge and have used them for some time. I love how my it makes my foundation look and the easy application is just what I need in my current situation.

The classic Beauty Blender was my first cosmetic sponge and it certainly did not disappoint. This will leave your make-up looking streak -free and it can apply not just your foundation but, concealer, primers, powders and cream blush. The best use of this sponge is when it is wet as its open cell structure fills with small amount of water which allows the sponge to be "full" so the make-up sits on top of the sponge rather than being absorbed. Which means, less product being used.

You need to bear in mind, when the sponge is wet it will double in size and become softer. As it dries, be assured it does return back to its normal size.

The best way to use any blending sponges is in a bouncing off your skin way, which leaves a beautiful air brush look which I simply adore. The Beauty Blender is a great tool for your make-up bag!

The Beauty Blender costs £16.00 and is available at www.beautyblender.co.uk and here.

The Nanshy Marvel 4 in 1 Make-up Blending Sponge has a slightly different shape compared to the beauty blender. The Blending Sponge is easy to use and easy to clean. Again, the Blending Sponge is best used wet and the flat edge is ideal for using around the nose and eye area, the difficult to reach areas.

The technology behind the Sponge is micro pore formulation which allows for the sponge to remain damp which means that it can grab the right amount of make-up. It expands when wet but again returns to its original size once dry.

I simply love the brand Nanshy and their focus for their customers which is:

'Help as many people as we can enhance their beauty and appearance for an even better look.'

Nanshy is definitely a brand more people should try due to the ethos, the great quality products and the price is just outstanding. The sponge costs £5.95 which is a bargain and available here. Also, check out their website at www.nanshy.com,

In conclusion, both of these sponges are very similar and I love using both. I do believe you need to try different sponges as you will have your own personal preference.
